Counting Crows Concert

Last night we saw the Counting Crows in concert in Lawrence, Kansas, it is about an hour and 15 min. drive from Manhattan. The venue was great, it was really small and intimate, made for a fun show!

The opener was "Wild Sweet Orange" or "Sweet Wild Orange" something like that, neither of us really liked them. But here is a picture anyway...

Two songs into the Counting Crows set, I leaned over to Jason and said, "Is he (Adam Duritz the Counting Crows lead singer) drunk?" I am 99.99% positive he was hammered at the start, so it made for an interesting first couple of songs. Then again, maybe that is just the way he performs, stumbling around stage and mumbling the songs. But, it shaped up to be a really great show, and I would definitely recommend seeing them in concert!

First time I have seen someone play the accordion, he was jamming!
