Lundstrom Visit

We have been fortunate to meet some very wonderful friends here in Kansas, hopefully people we will stay in touch with forever! We spend a lot of our free time with the Lundstroms, Joel was a grad. student in Jason's program and finished his PhD last December. But, thankfully they haven't moved away from Manhattan yet! The Lundstroms are avid sports fans like us, however they don't particulary like watching soccer... Jason always asks if they want to come over on a Saturday or Sunday morning and watch soccer with us, and we will make breakfast. So, they finally agreed (after about 15 months of requests) and we made a nice big breakfast Sunday morning and the Lundstroms watched soccer... although I think Joel might have been gritting his teeth the whole time. Tyson is their oldest son, he is 4, and he loves playing soccer so he came over all dressed in his gear... How cute!

The Lundstrom's don't have dogs... So, Tyson loves to play with Palmer and Terrance, we even bring them over sometimes when we go to their house. Palmer follows Tyson everywhere he goes, they are pals... Tyson wanted Palmer to lay on the blanket with him on the floor, but Palmer of course would rather lick Tyson's face. Don't worry, he was giggling not crying...

Child for hire... It is hard to see from the picture, but Tyson was sweeping the floors.

Must be something good out there!

Kristen and Joel welcomed baby 2 Charlie Thomas just 8 weeks ago... He is a big one!

Palmer is very interested in the new baby, and likes to sniff and lick his face, which you can imagine doesn't make Charlie, OR DANI very happy. Terrance, as some might know, thinks he can do whatever he wants, so he jumped right up into Charlie's carrier and was sitting on him! Kristen let him sit on her lap for a little while, then I made him get down... Mommy is so mean.
