They won all three of their group games and advanced to the quarterfinals. They played great, came back from 2 down in the first half to take it to OT. Then in OT, they had this really weird system where every minute each team took a player off of the field, so finally it was down to 2v2 and one of the K-State players was fouled right outside the box. But the referee called it the other way, and the other team took a quick restart (didn't even stop the ball and it was about 15 ft. from where the ref called the foul). So, the K-State player that got fouled didn't even have a chance to get back and help defend, I think the boys blamed the refs for the loss.
But they were honestly happy to go home early, if they would have made it to the finals it would have been 3 games in a row! I think they were all pretty tired and OUT OF SHAPE!
